Being informed and aware about the problems of air pollution could motivate the citizens to become part of a united battle for clean air in their street, neighborhood, village and city in the Western Balkans.

Lately, ETMI joined the regional campaign “United Balkan for Clean Air”, initiated by European Fund for the Balkans in collaboration with other partner organizations from the Western Balkan.
The problems caused by the air pollution, the high level of premature mortality and the need for living in an environment with clean air, were just some of the reasons why ETMI decided to become part of this regional initiative.
The Campaign “Balkans United for Clean Air” has only one objective, namely the one about informing the citizens of Western Balkan about the causes and consequences of air pollution and the possible solutions that can improve air quality. Being informed and aware about the problems of air pollution could motivate the citizens to become part of a united battle for clean air in their street, neighborhood, village and city in the Western Balkans.
Through this regional campaign, ETMI believes that the citizens of Western Balkan have the sufficient potential, knowledge and capacity to work together and stand in solidarity with each other for finding solution about the issue of air pollution.
